What's New at Coorie Inn - August

We're back! After a well-earned summer break, the whole team has returned rested, refreshed, and ready to make the most of what is shaping up to be a wonderful season. We can't wait to welcome you through the door again.

 From the Hive

The bees are beginning to slow down as summer starts to ease, with swarm season mostly behind us now. The colonies are healthy and we are turning our attention to getting them ready for winter. Most excitingly, we’re removing honey in the third week of August and we are looking at our first decent harvest since we began this project back in October 2024. It has been a labour of love and we are absolutely thrilled. Watch this space for honey appearing on the menu very soon.

Mushroom Season

Autumn is creeping in, and with it comes one of our favourite times of year in the kitchen. Local foragers have been kindly delivering weekly supplies of wild mushrooms, and members of the team have been getting out and doing a bit of picking of their own. Expect to see some beautiful foraged finds woven through our menus over the coming weeks.

New Menu Dishes

 A fresh wave of new dishes has just gone live, and we are really proud of what the kitchen has put together. To see them all in their full glory, give us a follow on social media: we share everything there

New Wine List

We are delighted to introduce an expanded wine list with an additional 20 bottles, with a selection of those available by the glass through our Coravin. Whether you fancy a quick glass at the bar or want to explore something special over dinner, there is plenty to discover.

Recent Successes

We are absolutely delighted to share that Coorie Inn has made the final of the Thistle Awards, Scotland's national tourism awards. We are over the moon to have reached this stage and would love your support. Wish us luck! We are also thrilled to have been named Scotland’s ‘best boutique hotel’ by Muddy Stilettos. What's On in the Area

• Drummond Gardens - open until 31st October. One of the finest formal gardens in Scotland, just a short drive away and well worth a visit.

• 27-30 August - Scone Palace International Horse Trials. A spectacular event set in the beautiful grounds of Scone Palace.

• 10-18 October - Crieff Food & Drink Festival. A celebration of the fantastic local produce and producers that make this part of Scotland so special.

• Tasting Menu Night, 24th October: A very special evening as the season turns. Availability is extremely limited, so please get in touch as soon as possible if you'd like to join us.
